My beautiful new camera strap (pictured here: http://phatstraps.com/inc/sdetail/3249 with the minky lining I chose) shipped yesterday! That means that I might very well have it in time for the photography meetup I am going to on Sunday! Huzzah!
Congrats! I'm still not sure whether I want to get a springy neck strap, one of those 'quick draw' straps, or a wrist strap for the D90. Looking forward to the meetup too! Despite the early wakeup, it should be a good time with a bunch of good people. If you like it, we'll have to get you signed up to check out the other events that are always goin' on.
I swear I don't get a kickback from her or anything, but according to the PhatStraps website, they are going to be offering leather straps soon. I could totally see you with one. ;)
Oh, and I actually signed up with the group, after I talked to your mother and checked it out. It looks like they do some nifty things. I reallyreallyreally want to get more into some urban stuff, but may need you to drag me out to do it.
